		In the county, the population is spread out with 27.20% under the age of 18, 6.80% from 18 to 24, 22.10% from 25 to 44, 22.40% from 45 to 64, and 21.50% who are 65 years of age or older.

		After the town of Tell was established in Childress County, the post office in Hall County was discontinued, on December 30, 1900, and mail was sent to Childress.
