The Hall Peninsula is a peninsula on the southern end of Baffin Island, in Nunavut, Canada.
It lies between Frobisher Bay on the west, and the Cumberland Sound on the east between 62°40'N and 65°10'W. The Hall Peninsula is part of the Arctic Tundra biome—the world's coldest and driest biome.
The original lake at Blake Hall Fisheries, Blake Lake was extended to its present three acres in size and transformed from a former trout fishery at the end of 2003.

The original lake at Blake Hall Fisheries, Blake Lake was extended to its present three acres in size and transformed from a former trout fishery at the end of 2003.
At three-and-a-half acres in size, Hall Lake has a total of 30 pegs and is slightly deeper than Blake running between six and seven feet for the most part except in the margins where the banks shelve quite deeply to the bottom.
However, Hall Lake is still in its infancy, the water having been cleaned out, the bottom levelled and the lake then restocked for the beginning of the 2004 season.

The elder Mariucci will be enshrined into the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame this Saturday.
Mariucci became the first U.P. resident inducted into the Michigan Wrestling Association Hall of Fame in 1991 and wrote a booklet, “Upper Peninsula Wrestling Championship – The First Twenty Years,” which he updated in 1998.
He started to promote bocce ball in 1992; and the Dickinson Area Bocce Association is regarded as one of the best in the nation.

 Gunston Hall
After intensive shakedown along the California coast, Gunston Hall prepared to sail for the Western Pacific, where she was to participate in every major operation from February 1944 to the end of the war, 18 months later.
During an overhaul in the summer of 1952, she was fitted with a helicopter landing and launching platform large enough to accommodate nine "whirly-birds," newest element in amphibious warfare.
Gunston Hall was part of one of the Navy's greatest postwar humanitarian efforts in 1955 as she joined TG-90 (Rear Admiral Lorenzo S. Sabin) at Saigon.

News was welcomed today at County Hall that the Government is backing the Universities of Plymouth and Exeter's plans to curb a medical 'brain drain' from the south west with a specialist undergraduate school with centres in Truro, Exeter and Plymouth.
Until the Peninsula Medical School opens its doors in October 2002 Cornwall will remain one of very few counties in the UK without facilities to train undergraduates who wish to become doctors, so the County Council has supported the bid throughout.
The school's three centres, one of which will be a new building at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, are expected to create around 175 new jobs, and boost the region's economy by an estimated £9.3 million a year.
