Berkshire Taconic Landscape Program - Local Leader Receives National Award |
 | | Washington resident Bobbie Hallig has received The Nature Conservancy’s highest national honor, the Oak Leaf Award, in recognition for her leadership and dedication to conservation in the Berkshire Taconic landscape and beyond. |
 | | Bobbie Hallig first became involved with The Nature Conservancy’s work during the successful 1990 efforts to protect 455 acres of highly significant wetlands along Schenob Brook in Sheffield, Mass. |
 | | She later served as co-chair of the newly formed Massachusetts chapter, and was a member of the three-person team that drafted the chapter bylaws. |
