HAMBURG, Germany - Prosecutors sought the maximum 15-year sentence Thursday for an alleged helper of the Sept. 11 suicide hijackers.
Chief prosecutor Walter Hemberger said Abdelghani Mzoudi, 31, was a "founding member" of a Hamburg-based cell led by hijacker Mohamed Atta.
The hijackers regarded Mzoudi as "a reliable and discreet partner in the preparation of the attacks," officials said.

In carrying on with the no blue state - no red state - only United States theme, I hope Barack and other candidates drive a stake into the heart of the idea of "mainstream" America, as if a presentation of ideas is only valid if those ideas have already been accepted.
Obama's brilliant intellect, dedication to social justice, and outstanding charisma have made me proud to live and vote in Chicago's south side, and proud to be a graduate studnet at the University of Chicago (where he teaches in the law school).
