Hamburger Hill is the story of Airborne Company Bravo and their attempt to take a hill in Vietnam dubbed by the soldiers, "Hamburger Hill" for the way it minces human flesh.
For the horror of war, this title has it's work cut out for it as despite the terror the real soldiers must have felt making their way up this hill of death, I am not sure that the campaign was enough to create a whole movie around it.
For the latter part of the movie all we are doing is watching men struggle up a muddy hill, which does not compelling viewing make.
