		The mission property was perched on a hillside facing south overlooking the river and part of the Hamheung plain to the west.
		The city of Hamheung laid to the southwest of the mission property.

		When the inspectors came to supervise these examinations they were wonderfully kind, making things just as pleasant and easy for us as they possibly could.
		In reporting to the newspaper, the head of the Educational Dept in Hamheung said that this school was surpassed by only one Girls' School in Korea.

		Bibim naengmyeon is also called Hamheungshik naengmyeon (Hamheung is famous in North Korea for being extremely cold.) The noodles are served with a hot sauce of red pepper paste, sesame oil, and garlic.

		Recently, North Korea has been actively enforcing "Total Mobilization for Autumnal National Land Management" to highlight the expansion of industrial infrastructure including road construction and repairs and the improvement of residential amenities such as housing and remodeling.
		On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of its regime, North Korea is conducting an urban renewal program for Pyongyang, Ganggye, Hamheung and other major cities and constructing some 30,000 housing-units nationwide apparently to boost its image of external opening and enhance the livelihood of residents.
		North Korea reported November 1 that it had completed the construction of units 1, 2, and 3 of the Pyeongwon Power Plant.
