Hamid Dastmalchi began to play poker at the age of 12 in Iran.
Though Dastmalchi is famous only for the year 1992 he is No. 6 on the roster of all-time tournament money winners.
Hamid won $800,000 in chips before Becky Binion Behnen replaced Jack Binion.

Hamid plays in the big game at Bellagio, Huck Seed is still doing well and is still considered one of the best
I assure you that Huck Seed is still a force in NL tourneys.
Can't say the same for Hamid Dastmalchi though.
