		Hamilton Crescent School is directly opposite the West of Scotland Cricket Ground, of which I was a Junior member in my youth and went to play and watch cricket with my grandfather.
		Hamilton Crescent was also just around the corner from the former Civic headquarters of Partick, when Partick was a separate town or burgh from Glasgow, only being swallowed into the city just after the turn of this century.
