Thirty years after he first appeared on the scene Hamish Stuart is still at the forefront of modern R&B. Hamish took some time recently to speak with WholeNote.com member Chris Hansen about his soul drenched career and the music that he loves.
Hamish: After a while I started to drift towards R&B. All of us in the Average White Band were into that kind of music despite the fact that we grew up in different areas.
Hamish: I think it's very important to follow your instinct and your heart, but you've also got to be open to different kinds of music and the different players who are around you.
