 Hampshire Students for a Peaceful Response
The vote, which was won by a margin of 693-121 (with 11 abstaining or ambiguous votes), is believed to the first such decision by a college community in the United States.
The college was also the first to decide to divest from apartheid South Africa.
For all of these reasons, and many more, we, the students, faculty, and staff of Hampshire College, have no choice but to condemn the current "War on Terrorism," and demand that it not be expanded to Iraq or any other countries.

 Project Windmill
I am not actively working on this project and have also long since graduated from Hampshire College so I have archived the site here for long term storage.
Hampshire College has a student-built, vertical-axis windmill on campus that is constantly turning, but currently not generating any power.
The big side road right now is Hampshire's new weather station which I mentioned in the last news snippet.
