	Oakdale Handcar Races
		The handcar races were run by the folks from the California State Railroad Museum (those people in the red shirts in the photographs below).
		There weren't a lot of teams that participated in the handcar races -- Of the 8 teams, 7 were various permutations of people who came down from Sacramento.
		Say hello to Gary Putman, who usually organizes handcar races but was a participant at this one.

	HandCar EX data transport software for Palm Devices (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-03)
		Use HandCar EX on Palm handhelds to readout and relaunch supported HOBO data loggers, and store the data until it can be uploaded to the PC through the Palm's docking station/cradle.

		A complete set of Official rules for the 2007 Folsom Handcar Derby will be given to the team Captain upon receipt of the Team’s Entry form and fees.
		All competitors must be at least 18 years of age on practice or race days to participate.
		The total distance to pump the Handcar is subject to track conditions.

		HandCar 1.0 is provided as a free download because it comes with limited technical support.
		To find out what version of HandCar you are running, launch HandCar on your Palm® device, click on the menu bar, click again on the Options choice, click again on About HandCar – the screen that follows displays the version number.
