 Handley Page Jetstream
The Handley Page Jetstream H.P.137 was a small twin turboprop airliner, with a pressurised fuselage, designed to meet the requirement of the United States feederline market.
After the Handley Page Aircraft Company was wound-up, the design was continued to be produced by Scottish Aviation, who had been the primary sub-contractor to Handley Page on the aircraft, at its Prestwick factory.
This allowed the aircraft to be offered in an 18 seat option (6 rows(2+1)), with a centre aisle, and the ability to operate at maximum load form a much greater range of airfields particularly in the continental United States and Australia.
