		According to the blurb in PC Magazine, the BookDrive (from ATIZ Innovation), will cost only $35,000, weighs 55 pounds, can handle Encyclopedia-size volumes, turns pages reliably and without leaving residue, and can scan 500 pages/hour in fl and white (and half that in color).
		If this catches on, and similar units become available for a thousand or two, it won't be long before the world's entire collection of printed materials becomes fodder for scanning, OCR'ing, and distributing.

		The higher the frame rate a game can run at the less slow down the game gets and the better the chances of winning.
		The second reason is for "Future Proofing" this basically means that having a top of the range computer will last a few more years then the lower range ones because it will be able to handle the future games and programs with no problems.
		While the budget systems will stop being able to function with the new stuff and slowly become redundant and the money will have to be spent on them again.
