guys, wearing hanfu is not about beintg old fashion nor living in the past.
The hanfu is the dress of Han chinese people however during the Manchu Qing dynasty all people in the empire including manchus, mongols and Hans were required to shave their heads and wear manchu dress(Qipao) thus Hanfu was lost.

There's a dude that makes hanfu in the US online by the name of Hong Gallery but he charges $300 for a subpar hanfu - used very heavy material that looked luxurious but was not good quality and the cutting was terrible.
Most Chinese folks regard hanfu as something very ancient and they'll know of it if you show them a picture but they'll have no idea where or how to get one, much less wear it to their wedding!
The hanfu however was what the Japanese Kimono and the Korean Hanbok is based on as it spread from China to to neighboring East Asian countries mostly during Tang.

My reason for creating the gallery is to show the beautiful of the traditional Chinese dress which have been worn in China throughout its 5000+ year history.
Unfortunately, many mistake the tight-fitting cheongsam/qipao as the traditional Chinese costume when in fact, it is a very very recent creation when compared to the hanfu.
The hanfu is the costume which influenced the Japanese kimono and Korean hanbok to be what they are - but the Chinese hanfu does not recieve the recognition or attention that it deserves.
