Hans Enoksen (born in 1956) is the current (Click link for more info and facts about Prime Minister of Greenland) Prime Minister of Greenland.
A member of (A legislative assembly in certain countries (e.g., Great Britain)) parliament of (The largest island in the world; between the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans; a self-governing province of Denmark) Greenland since 1995, he became Minister for Fisheries, Hunting and Settlements and chairman of the political party Siumut in 2001.

Modern colonization was begun (1721) by the Norwegian missionary Hans Egede.
Johansen retired in 1997 and was replaced by his coalition partner Jonathan Motzfeldt, who retained office after the 1999 elections.
Following elections in 2002, Motzfeldt was replaced as premier by fellow party member Hans Enoksen.
