		In der Folge produzierte Sachs mehr als 6000 Werke, viele davon in Knittelversen (merke: „Der Hans Sachs, der war ein Schuh-macher und Poet dazu“), und wurde zu einem der bekanntesten Dichter des 16.
		Hans Sachs wird als talentiertester und berühmtester der Meistersinger erachtet und ist wohl der einzige mit anhaltender Berühmtheit.
		Neben dem Meistersang beherrschte Sachs noch drei weitere literarische Gattungen: das Spruchgedicht in der Nachfolge von Hans Rosenplüt und Hans Folz, das Spiel und den Prosadialog.
