Hanussen, also known as Erich Jan Hanussen, was German mentalist, occultist, and astrologer, active in Weimar Germany and also during the very early years of Nazi Germany.
Hanussen claimed to be a Danish aristocrat but was in fact a Czech Jew, born under the name Hermann Steinschnieder.
