		I don't know about driving 3+ hours for Happy Joes but there is a pizza joint I would drive 4 hours for and that is just an extra 45 minutes up the road from Des moines, Great Plains Sauce and Dough Company in Ames.
		Happy Joe's is one of those places where the childhood memories far outshine the current product.
		Now I haven't been back to see Joe in over twenty years but, I see by a lookin' at the yeller pages that Joe must still be Happy cause he's still in the same place, 30 years later, here in Saint Louie, out on ol' Rt, 66.

		I am from Sioux City and there was a Happy Joes here at the Southern Hills Mall in the 80s.
		And if you have the bells and whistles with the siren and giant ice cream bowls of the old Happy Joes - I think you will make a killing on kids birthday parties as Chuck E Cheese and Thinker Toys are about the only games in town for preschool/early elementary age.

		As the plane loses various parts, pieces, and crewmen to the attacks of German war planes, Kanigher keeps drilling into the reader's head that the new B-17 is becoming second hand rather quickly.
		This last tale is about the bravery of three combat happy Joes in the face of an insurmountable obstacle.
		These three soldiers must hold off an entire German platoon, complete with tank, long enough for Easy to take control of "No Return Hill." The story is passable, but my major complaint about it (and the rest of the book, I suppose) is the non-use of Sgt. Rock.
