Hard Boiled is a comic book written by Frank Miller and drawn by Geof Darrow first published in three issues by Dark Horse Comics on 1990.
At the time of its publication it was generally regarded as the most violent comic book series ever written.
This is something which Darrow made a joke of on the cover of Hard Boiled #3.

 Hard Boiled and The Killer
One annoying thing about my copy of Hard Boiled (the Prism addition which I got pretty cheap) is that towards the end of the film, the sound doesn't quite match up with the subtitles, so the subtitles come on the screen about 2 or 3 seconds after the actor has spoken.
hard boiled is a msterpiece as well, but i just found it a tad less greater than the killer.
Think Hard Boiled is my favorite though, it actually had a cinema release in this country, I was probably one of the ten people that saw it at the cinema but it was amazing on the big screen.

So, to recap, there is a HARD BOILED remake floating around but it may or may not be directed by Johnnie To and it may or may not star Chow Yun Fat, basically depending on what the director and actor feel like doing.
But since it's the title HARD BOILED being bandied about a lot, I just wanted a littled clarification: is this John Woo's oft-rumoured sequel (between this Luc Besson's oft-rumoured Nat Portman LEON sequel, I gotta wonder if either one'll ever happen)...
Some films have never reached their total potential so a remake is a sound idea, but Hard Boiled is the (THE) action film to look up to.

Hard Boiled has a post-Blade Runner human-like robots and consciousness plot, which might not be the most original of tales but is treated with maximum style and panache by Miller's sparing pen.
This leaves Darrow to fill the gaps with his stunning artwork, filled with minute detail that'll have you poring over each frame, watching the individual pieces fly off crashing cars and disintegrating robots.

Dyeing Easter eggs: semi- and totally homemade - Slashfood
Though most of us are used to dyeing eggs that have already been hard-boiled, particularly useful when making this a kids' activity, dyeing with natural dyes works better when the dye is allowed to boil with the eggs as they are cooking.
If you want the eggs to be a darker, deeper color, replace the eggs in the dye/water and let sit (off the heat) until the eggs reach the desired intensity.
Just be forewarned that cooking with the dye means you may cook the eggs for longer than you normally would for a regular boiled egg, which might make them not so delicious for an egg salad sandwich afterwards.
