Hardangervidda National Park is located in the central part of SW Norway, where the following three counties meet: Telemark, Buskerud and Hordaland.
The latter two share the most significant part of this national park, showing the unspoiled nature of the Norwegian highland conutryside with its typical features: flat ranges and not very deep valleys with low and small lonely trees, rocky soil with lot of moss and wetland grass and lots of small lakes.
Norwegians say that Hardangervidda is the biggest highland in Europe (and perhaps I think if we exclude the Spanish meseta with absolutely different landscape they are right).
