Harivanshrai "Bachchan" Srivastav (हरिवंशराय बच्चन श्रीवास्तव) (November 27, 1907 - January 18, 2003) was a distinguished Hindi poet, perhaps best known for his early work Madhushala (मधुशाला).
Harivanshrai Bachchan died on January 18, 2003, at the age of 95, as a result of various respiratory ailments.
