The new CD, Harmony is Gordon Lightfoot's 20th album.
Gordon was also honored as a charter member of Canada's Walk of Fame and most recently was elevated to the "companion" of the Order of Canada (highest level) in December.
On September 7th 2002, Gordon was felled, during a concert in his hometown of Orillia, Ontario by a burst artery.

An inspiration to many, Lightfoot's legacy in the music industry continues with a concert tour planned for the spring of 2005 and the release of his 20th album, Harmony, earlier this year.
Our 2005 Awards' presentation was hosted by comedienne Carla Collins and included live performances by George Canyon, Matt Dusk, Simon Wilcox, The Trews, Gary Beals and The Waking Eyes, as well as a special tribute to Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame Inductee, Gordon Lightfoot, featuring Canadian Idol Kalan Porter.
Presented by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB), the 9th Annual Canadian Radio Music Awards honour Canada's hottest rising radio music stars.

Tambourine Man" and "Feel A Whole Lot Better," are perfectly credible reinterpretations, and he even does justice to Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind." Not a "lost Byrds album" by any means, but a must-own for any serious Byrds fan.
