Horsey was a member of the New Jersey Municipal Clerks Association, the Bergen County Municipal Clerks Association, the Metro Fire Photographers Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the Lion's Club of Harrington Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Harrington Park Volunteer Fire Department or the Harrington Park Ambulance Corps.

 JS Online: DNR to decide on campsites at Harrington Beach park
The campground would be the first created at a state park in two decades.
At Kleckner's request, the DNR agreed to plant a 300-foot-wide buffer of trees and shrubs along Cedar Beach and Sauk Trail roads to reduce noise and campground visibility.
Kleckner said he is opposed to park expansion because most of the targeted acres are cultivated for crops.

"A Night in the Barracks" is one of Harrington’s line of socio-sexual studies of same-sex behavior in the U.S. military made famous by Steven Zeeland (who wrote the Foreword).
Alex Buchman, himself a former Marine, has edited an interesting (to say the least) collection of "authentic accounts of sex in the Armed Forces." Whether these stories are "authentic" or just wishful thinking I cannot say, though they are so enjoyable that I really don’t care.
