ANTHONY KOCHER, of Harrison, Ohio, was born October 15, 1863, in Dearborn county, Ind., son of George and Mary (fultz) Kocher, the former born in Germany of French descent, the latter a native of Pennsylvania.
WILLIAM HENN, of Harrison, Hamilton county, was born April 1, 1855, in Baden, Germany, and is the son of Joseph and Catherine (Knodich) Henn, natives of Germany, the former of whom was born in 1814 and died January 1, 1890, the latter born in 1817.
JACOB BIDDINGER, of Harrison township, Hamilton county, was born December 19, 1838, in this county, son of Solomon and Catherine (Shroyer) Biddinger, the former of whom was a native of Fayette county, Penn., born in 1799, the latter born in 1800.

 HISTORY OF CINCINNATI AND HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO
HARRISON TOWNSHIP occupies the extreme northwestern part of Hamilton county, and was erected from territory formerly embraced in Whitewater and Crosby.
The township is one of the smaller subdivisions of the county, being six miles in length from north to south and three in breadth from east to west.
The population of Harrison was 173 in 1830; 940 in 1850; 1,343 in 1860; 1,417 in 1870; 1,550 in 1880, and 1,090 in 1890.

WILLIAM A. OYLER, M.D., was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, April 19, 1849, and is the third of the twelve children born to Jacob and Rachel A. (Williams) Oyler, natives respectively of Kentucky and Ohio, and of German and English descent.
MOSES L. WASHBURN, one of the earliest pioneers of this township, was born in Brown County, Ohio, April 2, 1815, and is one of the eleven children of Isaac and Rachel (Laycock) Washburn, natives respectively of Kentucky and Virginia, and of German descent.

According to several accounts he settled in Harrison Township; the tax duplicate of Hamilton County for 1810 indicates, however, that he was paying taxes on 157 acres in Crosby Township, but there is no entry for that year in Harrison Town- ship.
He soon became widely known and respected, for he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1807 and thereafter represented Hamilton County in the house in the six, seventh, and eighth general assemblies (1807-9) and in the senate in the ninth, tenth, and twelfth through the fifteenth (1810-12, 1813-17).
He remained in the senate until 1817 and then returned to Hamilton County, where in the same year he was made one of the associate judges of the court of common pleas, serving until 1824.

Adams, the northwest corner township of Hamilton County, was set apart by the Board of Commissioners in November, 1833, and, due to the limited population of this and the adjoining township of Jackson, the two were temporarily united for jurisdiction.
In the year 1822, Hamilton County was formed, and owing to the lack of facilities at the present county seat (Noblesville), the first session of the Board of Commissioners (or Justices) was held at the house of William CONNER, in Delaware Township.
The township is bounded on the north by Wayne and Noblesville Townships, o the east by Madison County, on the south by portions of Warren and Hancock Counties, and on the west by Delaware Township.

At the discretion of the Hamilton County Communications Center, the dispatcher may conduct a 'GROUP CALL' test of the Disaster Net in order to ensure that the radios are in proper working condition and to test hospitals' emergency department processes for receiving communications.
Hamilton County activates the Disaster Net, requests bed availability information from participating hospitals, and provides that information back to Wright Patterson which, in turn, relays the information to the national NDMS Global Patient Movement Center.
