Glicken was the suggestion that he may have suggested to somebody that they make a contribution in the name of another.
Glicken’s name until July 1997, and that particular contribution, where there was a suggestion that it was a contribution in the name of another, or solicited as a contribution in the name of another, the statute of limitations would have run at the end of April of this year.
Glicken’s role in soliciting contributions from other Florida-based campaign contributors on behalf of the DNC and other Democratic causes has yet to be fully investigated by this Committee.

Harry Glicken - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mount St. Helens, photographed by Harry Glicken one day before the 1980 eruption, taken from the spot where David A. Johnston died the following day (today known as Johnston Ridge)
Harry Glicken was a 33-year old volcanologist who was killed on 3 June 1991 by a pyroclastic flow on Mount Unzen in Japan, along with 42 other scientists and journalists, including well-known vulcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft.
On 18 May 1980, the day of the eruption of Mount St. Helens volcano, Harry Glicken was supposed to be observing the volcano from an observation post 10 km (6 miles) away, but he had to take the day off to attend an interview in a College in California.

 Excerpt | Surviving Galeras
Yet Johnston and another young volcanologist, Harry Glicken, rode a helicopter to the top of the volcano, landed on its swelling hide, and took gas samples.
Studying the volcano from an observation post 5.7 miles from the summit, he was incinerated and buried in a blast as powerful as five hundred of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima.
Glicken was not killed at Mount St. Helens.

Glicken himself was not charged, and the charges against the company were later dropped, but Falk is serving a prison term on the money-laundering charges.
Glicken, 55, a friend of Vice President Al Gore, also has agreed to enter a conciliation agreement with the Federal Election Commission, subject to that panel's approval, under which he would pay the FEC a civil fine of $40,000.

By studying the rock material blasted out of the mountain and the newly formed topography, Harry and his colleagues have been working to "put the mountain back together again" and re-construct the events.

Though academic, the tone is conversational and entertaining, and real-world examples illustrate the concepts.

Comparison with the Mount St. Helens debris-avalanche deposit, however, clearly establishes that the hills are part of a giant debris-avalanche deposit derived from a volcano ancestral to Mount Shasta, according to a recent report by U.S. Geological Survey geologists Rocky Crandell, C.
In addition to similarities in surface morphology, the internal structure of both deposits is similar -- the Mount Shasta deposit also consists of block facies and matrix facies.

The manner by which a pyroclastic flow moves affects its predicted runout distance, its distribution as continuous sheets or in isolated basins, and whether it can cross barriers such as high mountain ranges or water bodies.
During the eruption of Unzen volcano on June 3, 1991, decoupling of a pyroclastic surge from the top of a pyroclastic flow caused the deaths of Harry Glicken, Maurice Krafft, Katia Krafft and 40 Japanese citizens.
Mapping volcanic hazard zones requires that consideration be given to decoupling processes to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Indeed, the field study of active volcanos seems almost to guarantee a relatively short career.
Consider the tale of Harry Glicken, a graduate student whose job included monitoring the rumbling Mount St. Helens from an observation post 5.7 miles away, and David Johnston, a volcanologist with the U.S. Geological Survey who worried that the volcano was "a dynamite keg with the fuse lit."
On May 17, 1980, Glicken took a day off to attend a college placement interview in California.
