 | | FREDERICK — A new name for Harry Grove Stadium, one trash pick up instead of two a week and slashing the health plan for Frederick city aldermen are some of the ways aldermanic candidate Ken Berlin said he’s been able to find an extra $800,000 in the city budget. |
 | | Renaming Harry Grove may be possible, he said, although there may be stipulations in the original naming agreement from 16 years ago, when M.J. Grove gave the city $250,000 to complete stadium construction in return for the city naming the venue after his father. |
 | | Berlin said he had discussed the proposal with a city attorney and the suggestion was legal, although the Harry Grove name would have to be retained, as in, for example, “ABC Field at Harry Grove,” he said. |
