  Harry L. Towe, 92, A Former Congressman - New York Times
Harry Lancaster Towe, a former Congressman and deputy attorney general of New Jersey, died on Friday at his home in Lakewood, N.J. He was 92 years old.
Towe, a Republican, was first elected to the House of Representatives from the Ninth District in New Jersey in 1942.
Towe devoted much of his life to public affairs, starting out as a United States commissioner in 1930 and serving as assistant prosecutor of Bergen County in 1931.
