Harry Yount's life and travels between his departure from Yellowstone in the fall of 1881 and 1912, when he settled in Wheatland, Platte County, Wyoming, approximately 70 miles north of Cheyenne, is as yet largely undocumented.
Yount (or Younts) Peak, a major peak in the Absaroka Range located on the east side of the Continental Divide approximately 20 miles southeast of Yellowstone National Park's southeast corner is named in commemoration of this legendary frontiersman.
Harry Yount is credited with setting the standards for performance and service by which the public has come to judge the rangers of today.

Harry I. Dalton (August 23, 1928 - October 23, 2005) was an American front-office executive in Major League Baseball.
He served as general manager of three American League teams, the Baltimore Orioles (1966-71), California Angels (1972-77) and Milwaukee Brewers (1978-91), and was a principal architect of the Orioles' dynasty of 1966-74 as well as the only AL championship the Brewers ever won (1982).
Harry Dalton died at age 77 in Scottsdale, Arizona of complications from Parkinson's Disease.

Yount stated that he did not poll the localities but by researching on the internet, he found that several cities in Virginia have similar ordinances but that his intent was to create an ordinance that was in line with the suggestions of the Waynesboro City Council.
Yount noted that the original draft of the ordinance made the violation a police matter but that the draft had been amended to become part of the zoning ordinance and is punishable in the same manner.
Yount stated that the ordinance itself limits the appropriation for this project from the City to $94,000.00, noting that any funds in excess of that amount that may be required would have to come back before Council for appropriation or come from the School’s operating budget.
