  Hart House
Hart House, on UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO campus, was designed by the architectural firm of SPROATT AND ROLPH and was built 1911-19.
Endowed by the Massey family, and named for Hart MASSEY, Hart House is a large multi-functional student centre with a swimming pool, track, squash courts, theatre, library and dining room, all contained in a building of remarkable architectural coherence.

 House of Hart
Jesse M. Hart, a Missionary Baptist preacher and farmer of El Dorado, was born in Chambers County, Ala., June 22, 1838, and was the fifth in a family of eight children born to John and Eliza (Johns) Hart, both natives of South Carolina.
Hart were born three children, all living: John Marion (at Weatherford, Tex.), Ida W. (wife of W. Freear, a merchant of Jackson, Tenn.), and Thomas C. (at home on the farm).
Hart was president of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention in Monticello and Hope, and in the fall of 1889, at the organization of the Baptist State Sunday-school Convention at Little Rock, and he was elected president.

He said he is the victim of "character assassination" by unethical and "outrageous" journalism that is "reduced to hiding in bushes, peeking in windows and personal harassment."
Approached by the reporters later Saturday night, Hart denied having any "personal relationship" with the woman, denied that she had spent the night at his house and said that she had come to Washington to visit friends.
He said that the woman, identified by the Hart campaign as Donna Rice, was in his town house for only a few minutes and that she and a female friend from Miami had stayed at the home of William Broadhurst, a Washington attorney and friend of Hart.

 The Hart House and Farm
The house, and the farm land surrounding it, was handed down through the generations from Isaac Hart, Captain Samuel Hart, John Hart, Joseph Hart Jr., Frank Hart, Henry Jackson Hart, George Hart, and then, in 1947, the house, situated on a one-acre plot, was sold.
Hart have no intention of selling the ancestral dwelling but it is more than probable that the next descent to hold title will not bear the name Hart, since there are three daughters in the family, the only son having died.
It is called the Hart house, named after the family that lived in it from the 1676 to the 1940s.

The largest artifact in the museum, this Georgian-style, 2 ½-story timber-framed house was built in the 1760s and stood at 16 Elm Street in the center of Ipswich, Massachusetts, until 1963 when efforts by Ipswich citizens saved it from the bulldozer.

The Hart House is best known as the home of Stu Hart, the man who started Stampede Wrestling and trained a number of wrestling superstars, some of them, like Bret (The Hitman) Hart, his own sons.
