HAT YAI international airport has been declared temporarily closed, following the emergency landing of an Air Force plane.
Commercial aviation officials said the Air Force C-130 plane had made the emergency landing without its landing gear, which had malfunctioned, at the HAT YAI airport, rendering the air traffic to a complete halt.
No injuries were reported from the Air Force aircraft, which had circled above the airport prior to the emergency landing, with high-ranking officials of the Interior Ministry aboard.
