		Tadao Hata was born on April 29, 1904, in Honolulu, the eldest son of Torao and Naka (Nakamura) Hata.
		Hata remained in California for another year as an intern at the White Memorial Hospital in East Los Angeles and became a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1931.
		Hata recalls that he especially loved being an E.N.T. and was very good to his patients and earned their respect and admiration.
