 Hiking Archangel Valley near Hatcher Pass
So we drove to Hatcher Pass, which is near Wasilla and Palmer, right outside of Anchorage.
Soon the road turned to dirt, and after passing a lodge the road to the Archangel Valley sharply veered off to the right.
It was definitely good to have a high clearance vehicle -- it was very bumpy, and we drove roughly 3 miles on it at about 5 mph.
