Windsor is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
The constituency covers the town of Windsor and a small portion of the surrounding area, in Berkshire.
It elected two Members of Parliament until 1868, when the constituency was reformed and its representation reduced to one MP.

Originally, Newbury was part of a larger constituency of Berkshire, which returned two Members of Parliament (MPs), increased to three in the Reform Act of 1832.

In the UK general election of 2005 David Rendel's small majority was overturned by Richard Benyon for the Conservative Party.

Andrew is an incredibly hard-working and assiduous MP with the largest constituency in the UK- I do hope the punishing work load he sets himself was not a contributing factor to his illness.
I work that out as a -3.7% swing and the only thing to worry the Conservatives is that the Lib-Dems are increasing their vote at each election steadily- in the 2001 election they polled 15,060 votes which was itself 2% up on the '97 result.
Any Conservative on the A-list, especially those who missed out in the neighbouring Meon Valley (East Meon is actually in the East Hants constituency) and Winchester seats, those local candidates who have an association with the patch, as well as those who serve on East Hants District Council, Hants County Council and Havant Borough Council.
