Tax Haven   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-02)
Among tax havens, different jurisdictions tend to be havens for different types of taxes, and for different categories of people and/or companies.
Another way for an individual or a company to take advantage of a tax haven is to establish a separate or subsidiary legal entity (a company or a common law trust) in the tax haven.
Many countries (particularly OECD countries) have laws that make it difficult for their residents to own a company (or have an investment) in a tax haven without paying tax either in the tax haven or where they are resident.

TNG was deeper because we got to see everything before we saw it in either DS9 nor Voyager, it didnt have one storyline but every episode (or two) was a complete story which for me worked better than DS9.
Not only were they in the episode, but the entire plot of the episode revolved around them! The Enterprise crew (NX-01) were secondary characters in their own finale! Come on! Every time they went back to a scene on the Enterprise-D I wanted to get back to the Enterprise crew.
Episodic series are fine, but if you get some good writers together and get a good season-long arch, good shows turn into great shows and can even exceed expectations even when they're high (24, Lost, anyone?).

Some of the season 1 episodes were kind of bad, like "Code of Honor", but like, I want to know some of the worst ones outside of season 1.
I think that most of the first season episodes were not up to our expectations, but they were just getting started, after that I cant think of an episode that really stunk.
Even if there is "THE worst episode" it is just a personal opinion and it would be hard to come to an agreeable decision.

As I recall, many people who saw Suzie Plakson as the Vulcan doctor in "The Schizoid Man" made lots of positive comments about her (only a few of which were about her acting ability, but...:-)).
I'll just say that this is one of the more suspenseful episodes I've seen, despite the fact that the Enterprise isn't in any real danger.

I am sorting the episodes by the date given in the episode This explains why some episodes may not be listed in the order they where aired in.

Star Trek The Next Generation (TNG) really did an excellent job of continuing on after the final episodes of the original Star Trek, combining the great scripts of the first Star Trek with the advances in filmaking since that time and a new terrific cast!!
Of all the original series and next generation episodes PLUS all the movies, only the Star Trek The Next Generation tv show episodes "Family" and "Liaisons" contain no scenes on the bridge.
The scripts for the episodes, "The Child" and "Devil's Due" were originally were originally written for the proposed "Star Trek: Phase II" tv show which was later terminated.
