Hawkeye uses a wide variety of arrows, many of which are custom-built with devices to enhance their effectiveness in crimefighting.
To aid Hawkeye in locating the appropriate arrow with speed and accuracy, he has not only arranged the arrows in his quiver in a set pattern, he has also notch-coded the hock of each arrow so he can tell by touch which arrow he is drawing.

Hawkeye Pierce, taking his nickname from Cooper's character, was a major character in the novel, film and television series M*A*S*H. Hawkeye (comics) is a superhero published by Marvel Comics.
The television version of Hawkeye proved to be a somewhat different character: While his professional and social life was much the same, he also gradually evolved into a man of conscience trying to maintain some humanity and decency in the insane world into which he has been thrust.

The Redeemers, save for Citizen V and Jolt, were slaughtered by the supervillain Graviton, and the Thunderbolts were reformed to defeat him.

 HAWKEYE #7
While investigating the murder of his favorite deli owner, Hawkeye soon stumbles into a riveting confrontation with the Russian mob, a surprising discovery about the victim's military past, and an awkward conflict with a close friend.
The issue's main strength, however, is in character, as Hawkeye interacts with familiar and unfamiliar characters, such as a one-armed archer and Hawkeye's ex-girlfriend from his circus days.
This ex-girlfriend promises further insight into Hawkeye's troubled past and thematically compliments the surprise appearance by the Black Widow-who swings into the story's final pages to incinerate all of Hawkeye's work and all of his cool.

Hawkeye #1 Review - Silver Bullet Comics
As Hawkeye is busy trying to find himself with a tour of the back roads of America we see his stop in a rather seedy looking bar makes him aware of a goon making life difficult for a young woman.
This first issue has Hawkeye, without his costume, working to solve the problems of a woman who has been targeted by an underling inside a mob operation, and after discovering the head has no idea what its hands are doing, Hawkeye sets out to discover the truth of the matter.
The scene where Hawkeye is knocked for a loop by the steroid enhanced goon was pretty solid though, and I enjoyed the little moment where Hawkeye was busy messing about with a bottle cap while he was delivering his sob story.

To refresh, here is the classic Hawkeye costume, which has survived intact from his debut all the way to the present (with some slight tweaks over the years).
And part of that was getting Hawkeye’s SECOND “hip” version of his original outfit (the first is later on in the countdown).
This one is a bit unfair, as the designers were working under the aegis of children’s animation, as well as the concept of the show (and toy tie-in) which involved each character having some sort of modular armor.

Readers are treated to a bittersweet exploration of Hawkeye's conflicted loyalties-when, in order to understand his friend's death, the archer must defy the Black Widow.
And here, Nicieza strikes a perfect balance between Hawkeye's passionate heart and heroic integrity, creating a sharp tension that makes it difficult not to sympathize with the character, all the while wanting to yell at him for prying into every little problem.
His young Hawkeye is the essence of naïveté with a mouth prone to gape and eyes brimming with sentiment.

TORONTO -- Tony Daniels seems to have a lot in common with Hawkeye, the character whose voice he performs in The Avengers animated series, which premieres on Fox Kids on Saturday.
But he also takes his character seriously, and, having been a longtime comics reader, tries to be faithful to The Avengers lore.
In addition to Hawkeye, Daniels also performs as other characters in The Avengers, including the gurgling villain Aquarius, part of the Zodiac Gang which plays a key role late in the first season of the series.

Hawkeye #3 Review - Silver Bullet Comics
This opening arc has a nice film-noir feel to it as Hawkeye is very much invoking the spirits of the old Mike Hammer, Philip Marlowe detective novels/films, in which the deductive reasoning is often upstaged by a good old fashioned right hook.
I realize that this is a staple plot device of these type mysteries but the people Hawkeye is questioning aren't simple underlings that only know part of the answer, but rather they are active participants, and it's frustrating to see Hawkeye isn't pressing harder when he has these people backed into the corner.
However, I think part of my disillusionment with the material stems from the rather nebulous nature of the mystery Hawkeye was looking to solve, and frankly I don't quite understand why Hawkeye is looking to solve this mystery beyond to simply satisfy his own curiosity, and the readers.
