		I totally perferred the JLU Hawkgirl but then again I perferred their version of Batman, John Stewart, Flash, Kara, Wonder Woman...

		Hawkgirl is slowly rekindling her relationship with Hawkman in the comics.
		There was a sub-plot in JSA about Sand and Hawkgirl falling for each other, but it turns out that while Sand was actually attracted to Hawkgirl, Hawkgirl was just using Sand to get Hawkman off her back.
		She has the soul of the original Hawkgirl, but while most of the time Hawkgirl's soul eventually remembers her previous lives and takes on a similar personality, Kendra has the memories but retains her own personality because she committed suicide when she was younger, which screwed up the whole reincarnation process I guess.

		Hawkgirl as a character does nothing for me. But Hawkgirl written by Simonson and drawn by Chaykin will make me lay my money down, even as I wish they were combining their talents on something else.
		I'm not sure that I know enough about Hawkgirl to say that she does anything for me or not.
