		Hawkwoman is the name of a fictional characters, superheroines in the DC Comics universe.
		The Silver Age Hawkwoman was Shayera Hol, a law enforcement officer from the planet Thanagar and wife of Katar Hol, the Silver Age Hawkman.
		As Hawkwoman, Shayera eventually joined her husband as a member of the Justice League.

		Hawkwoman) is nicely defined by the time she gets around to confronting the Hawks.
		The book also makes a halfhearted attempt at justification by saying Hawkwoman was unsure who was under the mask, and as such she needed a good right cross to the jaw for her to confirm Hawkgirl was really who she claimed to be.
		The scene where Hawkwoman greets Hawkman with a passionate kiss was also nicely delivered by the art, as was the reaction shot when Shayera realizes that this isn't Katar Hol.

		To the best of my knowledge there is no action figure ever made for Shayera Thal, the Hawkwoman who had been introduced in Hawkworld and who looks to be making a return appearance in the Rann-Thanagar war.
		We also have to assume that Shiera started dying her hair red during that period, as well, since some flashbacks have shown a red-haired Hawkwoman, serving with the League.
