Barker et al (1997) estimated forage produced on the SL pastures at 6,599 lbs./A and on the TOR pastures at 5,284 lbs./A. Utilization of the forage averaged 33% on the SL and 50% on the TOR during the five year trial period.
Bred yearling heifers grazed the pastures in 1992 and 1994.
Hay yields over the five year trial period have ranged from a low of 0.8 tons/A in 1994 to a high of 2.87 T/A in 1992, the first year of the trial.

Some of the most striking landmarks are the tors (rocky peaks), which are exposed outcrops formed by the weathering of granite over at least the last 10 million years -- the rocks tend to be weathered along joints and cracks.
Tors often consist of rounded blocks that appear to have been stacked upon one another.

Rippon Tor (SX 746756) is on the east side of Dartmoor and has a commanding view over Newton Abbot and the Teign estuary.
Rippon Tor is probably a derivative of Raven Tor and in the past this bird would have nested here.
This tor is surprisingly extensive and is an excellent example of an avenue tor.

Hay Tor, probably one of the most visited rock tors on Dartmoor, is close to the road and can be climbed to the top for good views.
Around the rear of the tor you can still see signs of an old railway where horses were used to haul quarried stone.
The quarry can still be seen if you walk past the tor away from the road with good views down to Widecombe.

The nave and south aisle date from about 1450 and are in the perpendicular style although the pillars and window tracery are simpler than some elsewhere because of the hardness of the granite from which they are carved.
Each pillar in the southern arcade is a monolith and is said to have been brought from Hay Tor on Dartmoor.
It must be admitted that the proportions of the nave pillars are spoilt by the pews, but the church is a place of living worship, not an architectural relic, and today's worshippers want those pews.

Y está vez no hay riesgo de equivocarse sobre los asesinados de estas fosas comunes, por lo que creo que alguien tendría que pedir disculpas a los familiares.
Frente a la cantidad de fosas que hay en Aranda es normal ya que aqui estubieron durante bastante tiempo(no se cuanto) las brigadas de presos haciendo la linea de tren de Burgos-Madrid ya que Franco debia hacerla rapido porque tenia una deuda con Burgos.
Tambien se, ahora, que hay unos almacenes de renfe que estan destartalados que fueron los dormitorios de estos presos, otro lugar fue cerca de El Fronton y posiblemente por alli tambien halla fosas o las hubo.

While research shows that horses seem to be able to rid their systems of the endophyte toxin and recover from its ill effects in as little as 30-45 days, a good rule of thumb is to remove broodmares from endophyte-infected fescue 60-90 days prior to foaling.
If you live in an area that produces fescue hay, make sure you are not inadvertently buying hay from an endophyte-infected field.
Even if a producer is advertising endophyte-free (EF) fescue hay, it would be prudent to have the hay tested before purchasing and feeding it.

Dungeon Tor turned out to be a small pile of rocks stacked up in a romantic nature and shaded by trees, this was kept "ridiculously locked" up behind railings so that an entrance charge could be taken.

Hay televisiones locales d ciudades bastante mas grandes q son aun mas deprimentes.
Hay mucha gente que por razones que no nos importa saber no puede salir de casa y que tiene en telearanda una ventana para saber qué pasa en las Fiestas, la Semana Santa o en diversos sitios de la localidad ya que por ellos mismos no pueden verlo.
