Tanzania is a multiparty state, created to provide a framework for further uniting the energies and allegiances of people of many tribes while allowing the citizens to freely choose by whom they shall be governed.
Tanzania is one of the 14 member states of SADC that is setting the economic pace for the East and Central Africa and by association, the rest of Southern Africa.
