The Heartbeat TV series has a regular audience of around 14 million viewers each week and now has a fixed family slot each Sunday evening in the UK.
In the whole of Heartbeat's 13 years, there have only been a few buildings in the village that have been used as "regulars".
The 288th episode of Heartbeat, "Auld Acquaintance" was screened in the UK on December 18th, 2005.

Once settled in as leader, the programme, which was in its last years, changed its caricature of Blair to have a small face with an outsized toothy grin.

There is TV programme which I seen in the 80s.This was about town in the USA,which the street lights is being changed from mercury to sox bulbs.They done this because of the light going in to the sky and some people can not see the STARS in the sky.
This is a TV programme (TV-Series) and in episode they were outside their house and you can see a THORN GAMMA 6 lantern on a metal post.

I am 13 years of age and i think heartbeat is the best TV programme that i have ever seen i have been once to the set and am going to visit it again soon i have beem watching it since i was about 6 or 7.
I find Heartbeat really special because its such a great form of escapism - its takes you on a great nostalgic romanticised trip back to the 60's where everything is cozy and the community spirit is at the heart of things - great warmth to the show!

Although not a ratings eruption of epic proportions, the big budget programme managed to achieve a respectable average of 7.02 million viewers - a 27.2% share of the available audience - in the 9pm hour.
It was still trumped by ITV1's Midsomer Murders, which had 7.93 million (34.3%) between 9pm and 11pm, but was up on last week's Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.
Top programme of the night was ITV1's Coronation Street, which was albeit down to an average of 10.89 million (42.8%) at 7.30pm.
