		With that, "Heartbeat City" definitely deserves the acclaim it received during 1984 and 1985.
		However, even though everything from the "Heartbeat City" era seemed to be perfect, relationships among the band members were not always so.

		The Cars' blockbuster 1984 album, Heartbeat City, reached #3 on the 1984 Billboard Top 200 chart, and contained five hits, the biggest hit being "Drive", which reached #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and #3 on the Billboard Top 100.
		While I like the hits on the album, especially "You Might Think", and also "Heartbeat City", the remaining album tracks are marred by overprocessed vocals and incessantly cheesy background vocals (for example, listen to "Stranger Eyes").
