Bank Holiday Sunday evening saw the tragic loss of a young teenage life when a 14-year-old girl was hit by a train in Heath, Cardiff.
Although the name of the girl has not been released, her parents have been informed and British Transport Police are not treating her death as suspicious.
The loss of young life is truly tragic and our sympathies go to the family of the young girl and her school friends who will have such a shock next week.
