Hebron Academy is a private, co-ed, college preparatory boarding school located in the small town of Hebron, Maine.
Founded in 1804, Hebron Academy has enjoyed a rich history of educating the leaders of the state of Maine, and the United States such as U.S. President Abraham Lincoln's first vice-president, Hannibal Hamlin, George Lincoln Rockwell and John Brown Russwurm.
Hebron Academy is not a disciplinary school, the student environment is quite relaxed and students do not wear uniforms.

Hebron Academy operated a 1055 foot ski tow from the 1960's until around 1985.
The facility was short-lived; the Academy in the inter-war era was primarily a "post-graduate" school, which meant that, when WWII came along, its source of students dried up, with the result that the school closed for three years during the war.

 Can-Am Tournament - 1999-2000
The Stanstead College Spartans hosted the Second Annual Can-Am Hockey Tournament on January 14, 15 and 16 with Hebron Academy and Berwick Academy from Maine and Northwood School from Lake Placid, New York representing the USA and Appleby College and Lakefield College from Toronto, Ontario and Stanstead College competing on the Canadian side.
The Hebron Academy Lumberjacks advanced to the final after reporting victories against all of the Canadian schools in the round robin portion of the tournament and knocking off Northwood School by a score of 4 to 2 in the semi- finals.
No one knows what Hebron Coach Shawn Rousseau said to his players during the break but the Lumberjacks scored 3 goals within the first 2 minutes of the second period and the Stanstead team was skating uphill from that point on.

One's day at Hebron was already so jam-packed with school, afterschool sports/activities, study hall, and everything else, that it was often hard to find the time to participate as much as one might have liked in all the other activity options.
