		That clearly is not the case with hectopascals, since the pascal as a special name for newtons per square metre was not introduced until the 1970s.
		To use hectopascals in aviation meteorology is to miss out on one of the major advantages of the International System of Units, not having to learn a whole new set of units for each field of endeavor.
		A special problem with the unfamiliarity of hectopascals is the commonly seen misuse of capitalization in the name of this unit.

		OK to shorten ur time here, I have found out that the hkPa is a combo of two deferent metric measurements.
		Why the UK has to use some dumb ass shit like this is beyond me.
		Like one our fellow members had said or told me about the mesrument, was that That scale was called hectopascal and well you know the other one (PSI) anyway I put my numbers in and came up with something like 0.0102977 psi from a -.71 hkPa !
