		The overall aim of the agreement and the formalized cooperation between the municipalities is a formalized, open cooperation at a political and strategic level with the purpose of placing the 3 municipalities in a strategic position, locally and regionally, in relation to a possible future reform of the municipal system.

		Ny Hedensted spends DKK 2.2 million annually to send everything from tax bills to social benefit payments through the postal service.

	Migrants2Work
		Encouraged by the project’s positive results, the Municipality of Kolding, has started to use the PAV set-up since Spring 2004 in teaching Danish as a Second language to migrants with disabilities (e.g., physically handicapped, victims of trauma) who are not able to go to the normal language schools.
		The Municipality of Vejle was impressed with the idea, and wished to adapt the concept.
		Through the running of such courses, Vejle Municipality aims to: increase awareness among its leadership on the challenges and barriers in diversity management; provide insight on how attitudes affect practice; increase the n umber of employed refugees and migrants in Vejle municipality; and develop methods that will contribute towards increasing the number.
