The curve is also named undecagon or unidecagon.
The hendecagon name is to be preferred, because the parts of the word are all Greek, and not mixed Greek/Latin.
The regular hendecagon is the regular polygon with eleven sides.

Chapter 11 updates - Dissections: Plane & Fancy
He converted the hendecagon to a rectangle in 10 pieces and then applied a P-slide.
But in August 2000 this was topped by Gavin Theobald, who found a remarkable 13-piece dissection of a hendecagon to a square.
Here is an improvement for the hendecagon, and I have just found an 11 piece dissection of the pentadecagon, although it needs verifying.

I need an example of a object that is in the shape of a hendecagon.
I know what the shape is but I cannot come up with a real life example of an object that is this shape.
Canada uses an 11-sided dollar (the loony), but the sides are rounded so that technically, it is not a polygon even though its vertices are those of a regular 11-gon (hendecagon).

Undecagon Definition - Math Open Reference
Some say that the word undecagon is incorrect because it is derived from Latin (una - "one") whereas most polygon names are Greek in origin.
By that rule it would be called a hendecagon instead.
As always, to avoid confusion simply call it an 11-gon.

The term UNCONDITIONAL CONVERGENCE (of a continued fraction) was coined by Alfred Pringsheim (1850-1941).
Earlier terms for an 11-sided polygon, hendecagon and endecagon, are found in English in 1704 in Lexicon technicum, or an universal English dictionary of arts and sciences, by John Harris (OED2).
Undecagon is found in English in 1728 in Chambers' Cyclopedia.

As for the great suffragist it honored, well, more than a few wags joked about her striking resemblance to George Washington.

These are macaronic terms (namely, terms built from a mixture of different languages, like Greek and Latin) and they should be avoided.
Unfortunately, the term "undecagon" seems to be used almost as often as "hendecagon" to describe an 11-sided polygon (the very questionable spelling "endecagon" is, mercifully, a very distant third).

PQ is a test of your practical intelligence.
That is, your ability to solve real-world problems rather than calculate the surface area of a hendecagon, or something.
METHOD TO THE MADNESS: PQ does a clever job of using gamelike puzzles to take your intellectual pulse, but the conundrums get a little monotonous after a while.

Apparently the purists deride macaronic mathematical terms that mix Greek and Latin roots, like nonagon, undecagon, duodecagon ("properly" enneagon, hendecagon, dodecagon).
And they'd like to let bigons be digons.
