FLUXEUROPA: Kraftwerk - London, Brixton Academy, 20 March 2004
Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider were joined on stage with long-term collaborators Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz.
They opened and the computers had already started but no one was standing behind them, but then Hütter, Schmitz, Hilpert and Schneider walked on from the side of the stage in a rather camp fashion each wearing a black tie but this time with a red flashing light going through it!
Curtains open, now Hütter, Schmitz, Hilpert and Schneider are wearing black and green, light-emitting suits which glowed quite nicely!

 [No title]
The only things that remain from the band that shaped the term electronic music like no other are the few concerts of Ralf Huetter, Florian Schneider and the sound engineers, Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz who replace Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Fluer.
At the end of the 60s Ralf Huetter and Florian Schneider-Esleben met in Duesseldorf while studying electric organ and flute at the Konservatorium.
Joined by the drummers Hohmann and Dinger, the guitarist Rother and Krahnemann on the base, their first album, simply called Kraftwerk appeared in summer 1970 and was produced by Conny Plank, their long-time producer and intimus of the band.

 Articles - Kraftwerk
Following the departure of Flür and Bartos, various Kling Klang studio personnel such as Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz have appeared in the Kraftwerk live line-up.
The growing time between recordings, the rarity of live performances and the increasingly exacting and protracted nature of the recording process were major reasons behind the departure of Flür and especially Bartos, whose improvisations were an essential part of the earlier Kraftwerk recordings.
This saw the band presented as a electronic quartet, with Hütter and Schneider joined by Wolfgang Flür and Karl Bartos as electronic percussionists.

Kraftwerk - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Following the departure of Flür and Bartos, various Kling Klang studio personnel such as Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz have appeared in the Kraftwerk line-up.
Wolfgang Flür and new recruit Karl Bartos performed live electronic percussion using custom-made (and at the time, unique) sensor pads hit with metal sticks to complete a circuit and trigger analogue synthetic percussion circuits (initially cannibalized from the aforementioned organ beatbox).
The band was founded by Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter in 1970, but became widely known as a quartet consisting of Wolfgang Flür and Karl Bartos alongside the founding members.

Kraftwerk - Tour De France Soundtracks : album review
Tour De France Soundtracks sees just two of the original four of Dusseldorf's finest line up behind their machines- Ralf Hutter and Florian Schneider are now joined by Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz.
Tour De France Etapes 1-3 are largely variations of the same piece and weigh in collectively at over 18 minutes of vocoded voices, clipped pulse rhythms and delightful bleeps and bloops - showing that the instruments may have radically changed since Kraftwerk's debut but the thinking behind music making has not.
And though the Tour De France is over, it's immediately clear that future events have their perfect soundtrack here.
