		Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné, comte de Chambord (September 29, 1820 – August 24, 1883) was the grandson of King Charles X of France.
		Henri was the posthumous son of Charles Ferdinand, duc de Berry by his wife Princess Maria Carolina of the Two Sicilies, daughter of Francis I of the Two Sicilies.
		In November 1846 Chambord married Archduchess Marie Therese of Austria-Este, daughter of Duke Francis IV of Modena and Princess Maria Beatrice of Savoy.

		Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné d'Artois, comte de Chambord (September 29, 1820 – August 24, 1883) was technically King Henri V of France from July 30th to August 9, 1830.
		Henri was the posthumous son of Charles Ferdinand, duc de Berry, younger son of King Charles X of France, by his wife Princess Maria Carolina of the Two Sicilies, daughter of Francis I of the Two Sicilies.
		At his death, Henri's wife and some of his supporters believed that he was succeeded as rightful king of France and Navarre by his distant cousin Juan, Count of Montizón (the senior male of the House of Bourbon).

		The old cardinal de Fleury did not have enough energy left to oppose the war, and the king gave in to the strong pressure of the anti-Austrian party at court: he entered the war in 1741 by allying with Prussia.

		The château was originally a huntingbox of the counts of Blois, the rebuilding of which was begun by Francis I.
		It was given by Napoleon to Marshal Berthier, from whose widow it was purchased by subscription in 1821, and presented to the duc de Bordeaux, the representative of the older branch of the Bourbons, who assumed from it the title of comte de Chambord.

		Henry IV was the son of Antoine de Bourbon, Duke of Vendome and Jeanne d’Albret, Queen of Navarre.
		Henry’s councillors strongly opposed this idea, but the matter was resolved unexpectedly by Gabrielle d’Estrée’s sudden death in April 1599, after she had given birth prematurely to a stillborn son.
