		Henri died in a fiery accident on May 2, 1986 at the Tour de Corse rally of Corsica which resulted in the FIA ban on Group B rally cars for the 1987 year.
		Henri's European season with Porsche turned out to be a great year winning 5 events narrowly being beaten for the title by Italian Lancia driver Carlo Capone.
		Henri is still the youngest driver ever to win a WRC event (he was 24 years old at the time).

		Henri Toivonen was born on the 25th of August 1956 in Jyvaskyla in Finland.
		In 1981, Henri was signed up for a full WRC programme with the Talbot squad, but he realised that the car was no longer competetive against the fledgeling group B machinery, despite second places on both the San Remo and Portugese Rallies and a 5th place on the Monte Carlo Rally.
		Henri drove the Manta 400 in 1983, but the car was losing ground to the much more powerful machinery fielded by Lancia and Audi, yet he still managed a fourth place on the San Remo.
