Guyse is a phonetic representation of GUISE, GUYCE, GYCE, GUICE in Britain.
There are pockets of Guices/Guises in the worcestershire and Birmingham area who I believe have derived from the same family in the 1500's.
This family had their name spelt differently depending on the person entering the details in the parish registers.
